Implementation of branding workshops for cheese and meat products at Preveza

Aiming to the development of an integrated strategy for the promotion of the local agri-food products and the production of new cheese and meat production in Epirus, the Region of Epirus implemented a series of thematic workshops at Preveza on Wednesday 11th December 2019 at 15.00 a.m. in the Hotel Margarona Royal (Eparhiaki Odos Preveza-Agios Thomas) within the framework of MeDInno project.
Before each thematic workshop began, the MeDInno Project Manager, on behalf of the Region of Epirus, Mrs. Vasiliki Igoumenidou (executive staff member of the Region), presented the scope, actions, and expected results, of the Project. During the thematic workshops, the participants filled out one questionnaire related to cheese products and one related to meat products, aiming to obtain data to determine the commercial identity of these products. At the end of the thematic workshops, took place an open discussion, where attitudes and resolutions about the commercial identity of the cheese and meat products produced in the Epirus Region, were recorded.
MeDInno project is co-funded for 841.517,40 euro by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national co-financing within Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme 2014-2020

Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme is an European Territorial Cooperation Programme that aims to help public institutions and local stakeholders to develop cross-border projects and pilot actions and to create new policy, products and services, with the final goal to improve the citizens’ quality of life. Strategically, the programme will enhance innovation in a number of fields such as blue growth, tourism and culture, agro food and cultural and creative industries.
